At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will have knowledge to begin experimenting with cover crops to address resource concerns on their land and/or discuss the concepts with producers.
This webinar presents ideas and concepts for using cover crops to address resource concerns, particularly to build soil health. Multi-species cover crops are biological primers of the soil; feeding the soil food web and restoring the capacity of the soil to function. Cover crops can provide tremendous benefits to any cropping system. This presentation will explore opportunities to include cover crops in the cropping system and design mixtures with a purpose.
This webinar is presented by the USDA NRCS East National Technology Support Center.
